Kirsten Jenna Lee here, experienced traditional and online copywriter, lecturer in Digital Marketing at Vega School Cape Town & Head of Digital Marketing at IMM Graduate School, & former content & social media executive at Bookatable by TheFork London.  Now qualified with a merited Master's in Journalism & an NCTJ Diploma including shorthand at Kingston University London.

Describe me as a leader, thinker, conceptualiser & box-ticker who puts in the hours. Find me doing something creative in my downtime, from snapping the city as a hobbyist photographer to devouring my way through it as a foodie & putting fingers to keyboard.

Workdays at Bookatable by TheFork involved creating content for email campaigns & social media, alongside managing & optimising
their blog using CMS tools to input SEO-friendly, restaurant-centric copy.

While working as a writer for SquareMeal,
I pieced together news stories, restaurant reviews, features & social media posts. Previously, I had work experience at Woking News & Mail, & was the social media editor at the Kingston Courier.

I spent two years as a copywriter at an international advertising agency, TBWA in South Africa, working with retail, FMCG & B2B brands to create content for traditional & social media. After which, I decided to emigrate & broaden my
long-form skills in broadcast journalism at Kingston University London.

My undergraduate was a BA degree in Creative Brand Communications, specialising in Copywriting at Vega School & I achieved a cum laude or a "first" while also placing top in my year. My degree composed of modules on branding, marketing, graphic & web design, photography & copywriting. At Kingston, I furthered my skills in SEO, audio & video editing & journalistic practices.

Additionally, I have completed three short courses on writing content for digital, problem-solving & social media.
